July 22, 2018 -- Wow, almost 5 years have gone by since since our last update here. That doesn't mean things have been quiet. Just a lot of changes in Real Life as opposed to the website directly. Our Gaming Page is in full swing as is our Twitch Livestreaming Channel and YouTube Channel. We even got to welcome Abigail Rose to the family almost exactly one year after that Sept. update right below. One of the biggest pieces of news to share at this point, however, is the return of the Real Millennium Group Logo T-Shirts! The t-shirts feature the original logo, now in full color. Other than that, most likely this will be the last official update listed here. You can keep track of our gaming adventures and more in our various social media platforms - check out the Home Page for all the links!
September 27, 2013 -- After a decade in the waiting, we finally have Flash's Pix up on the site now (and have added a few more of Wilson on that page as well). We have also set up a new central gaming page to help promote the stuff we're playing, plus whatever fun gaming we stuff we can think to toss into the pot, and have started work on The Real Millennium Group Archive. Other than that, the updates to the site have been completed - hopefully it's looking a bit better and suitable for the large monitors now. We just need to do some work on the Wizardry pages, but hopefully that won't take too much longer. We also hope to get Chapter two of our Defiance novel published before the end of the month.
August 25, 2013 -- Updated the SWTOR pages a bit (added the CE music), and we have also added a fan page for Defiance - the newest MMO shooter from Trion Worlds that ties into the SyFy Television Show, which includes a Fan Fiction novel we are in the process of writing. We also now have a YouTube channel that offers up some gameplay footage and opinions. More to come later!
February 27, 2013 -- I have finished up our SWTOR character info pages, and am just working on getting the Mission Spreadsheets uploaded, I should have the initial versions up by this weekend for classes and planets we have gotten through to various points in the game. In the mean time, the RMG family are looking for Sponsors for a business venture we are trying to start up - Erin's Playhouse. Anyone interested in becoming a sponsor can use any of the Donate links found around the site, including the EP main page. More details will be coming in the next couple of months as we hope to get enough funding to plan things out.
January 31, 2013 -- We seemed to have made it - another year gone by. Amazing, looking back over the older entries here how much we wanted to get done on the site, but still have yet to do. We have finished all but one section of the RMG Community Archive, leaving only the Important Dates section left. At some point in the coming weeks (hopefully) we will be doing some scanning of the old newspaper clippings we used to update this on the Community every day. In the mean time, we have begun work on our SWTOR fan site. Pretty much only have our guild poster up, but plan on getting our character info up in a similar fashion that we did for the Guild Wars section of the site. Other than that, we are going through the site little by little and making improvements and changes to pages to update them with new schemes and sized to match the higher res monitors that are out there today (funny, when we started 800 x 600 was huge!!)
June 23, 2012 -- The year it all ends (or so says those who misinterpret the meaning of the Mayan Calendar). We have gotten the first of our MSN Group Archives up - still a couple of things left over to format and convert to PDF, but the bulk of the original information is there: Real Millennium Group Community. We are hoping to get the other two groups converted over by the end of this year (or by the end of the Mayan Calendar at least). The bulk of our time is being taken up by real life duties and of course, our newest MMO obsession: Star Wars: The Old Republic. We hope to have a fan page up with our characters, servers, and Guilds over the summer, but we're so busy playing, it might be a while (after all, look how long we've been trying to finish our Wizardry Guide!!)
December 2, 2011 -- In terms of site updates, we have been working on updating our Auction Directory with our current listings, now that we have added eBid to our collection of sites. Other than that, our major goal for 2012 is to trasfer all the old MSN Group information to our Homestead site. After looking at several options that offered similar functionality to the MSN Groups, we decided that a paid for option wasn't viable, and found no suitable free options. Therefore, all the basic information will be copied into web pages here. Since the chat rooms and forums were only used very rarely, the lack of those on the site seem not to be much of an issue. However, should that change, we will definately look at adding those options down the road.
February 12, 2011 -- We are just a few weeks into the second decade of the 21st Century. Hard to believe it's been 12 years since this whole thing started. Well our founder (myself), started a new tech job in the spring of '09 which has keep me busy for the last year and a half, but plans are afoot to get back into the swing of things with updating our Wizardry guide, and re-working the old MSN groups (which were forced to move to multiply a few years ago) so they can regain their original functionality. Stay tuned.
February 26, 2009 -- Wow, time has just flown by since the last notable change to the site. Even though much hasn't changed here, a lot has been going on in the real world - our founder has now become IT certified and is in the midst of changing careers. As a result, the Real Millennium Group is now offerng PC tech and IT services, check us out at RMG Tech Services.
February 24, 2006 -- Not too many major changes to the site in recent months, just some tweaks here and there as we are still concentrating on getting our Guild Wars Quest Guide complete. We have added a page to honor our Guild Officers and have uploaded some images and the first portion of the guide to our redesigned group - The Real Millennium Group.
July 29, 2005 -- It has been quite the summer, thus far!! We would like to announce the birth of Erin Elizabeth on July 9, to our Founder and his wife. Naturally, the little bundle hasn't left us with much time to update the site, but we have made some changes to the Guild Information file and to the Guild Page on the website. We are also slowly updating some of the inventory and trade items we have as well. We hope to continue to update this section over the next few days. We still plan on finishing the guide for the first Wizardry Scenario as soon as we can - hopefully by the fall.
June 10, 2005 -- We still have to add the Mesmer Pre-Searing armor upgrades to the list, which will be done later this week. We are also now compiling our list of info for the Post-Searing world. This section will be free to access, but will be available to members of the Real Millennium Group Guild only, so if you don't want to miss a thing (and don't want to pay for the incomplete and incorrect guide), join our guild today by sending us a message with our Contact Form.
June 4, 2005 -- The Pre-Searing Quests should be pretty much completed at this point in time. We have just a couple of minor things to add to a couple quests, but this page will give you what you need to get through the Tutorial section of the game. On another note, we have been in brief contact with Barry Kiah, who was Ops manager for Sir-Tech software for pretty much their operating time in New York, so look for an expansion of background info coming to the Welcome to Wizardry group over the next few months, as we pry Barry for all the insider info we can get.
May 27, 2005 -- We've added a couple of quests we unlocked to the Quest section, and update a few of the files the some of the unlock column links lead to. We are still compiling the list of Skill Trainers, and hope to have the Quest page completed within two more updates. Still need to search through some of the catacombs for more quests & items, but other than that, it looks like we're nearing the end. We'll then get back to working on the Guild Section and hope to get back to the Wizardry guide soon. We will also add Guild Member's Characters to the Guild Section, so if you are interested in having your characters' bios up on the site, contact us to get info on joining the Guild.
May 21, 2005 -- A few updates to the Guild Section, plus the addition of the Pre-Searing Quest section. Both of these areas will be updated on a regular basis in the coming weeks as we have an opportunity to play the game further.
May 14, 2005 -- We've added an area dedicated to our guild in the Guild Wars fashion. The page is still being constructed, but you can get a quick preview of the layout and info that will be contained when completed. Anyone who joins the RMG guild can qualify to have a bio of their character placed on the site. Check back here to find out when the Guild Section is completed.
May 3, 2005 -- All's been quiet on the Millennium front of late, but a lot has been going on behind the scenes. Our President has just gotten married this past weekend, so amongst all the last minute planning, in addition to building a new computer system over the last month or so - updates to the RMG site and Wizardry guide have been delayed until later this month. In the mean time, we have begun playing the new on-line Guild Wars game and have created a Real Millennium Group (RMG) Guild. If you have an account with the game, please come join our Guild - use our contact form to e-mail any character names you have created, and we'll send out an invitation.
March 11, 2005 -- The Auction Glossory was updated slightly with definintions of the various types of bids that one can place in an on-line auction, the types of bidders you will encounter, and the best way to bid in order to win what you want.
January 30, 2005 -- We've added our Tidbits & Tales page to the site, and have recently uploaded the maps to Floor 6 of the Wizardry Guide to the Group. We've also added our Summer of '76 and July 4th pages. The information on the Founding Fathers will be completed over the course of this year
January 2, 2005 -- Finally having a day to work on the Wizardry Guide, we have updated the second part of the Proving Grounds scenario with info on Floor 5 and will have the high quality map uploaded to the Documents folder of the Wiz Group today as well. Otherwise, we hope to finish the Proving Grounds within the next month or two. Happy 2005 to all our friends and visitors!!!
December 3, 2004 -- Updates are slow to come with a new full time job to tackle, but we recently re-registered our three main domain names, so you can now reach our Homestead home page at www.realmillenniumgroup.com as well as the dot net and dot org web addresses. Look for more updates after the new year.
October 30, 2004 -- We have added a note of caution to the fourth floor info of the Wizardry I scenario guide. We have also added some of the maps to the Welcome to Wizardry Group.
September 16, 2004 -- We have most of our old AOL pages created on the Homestead server now. There are still a few of the debates and letters we need to get done, but they are minor issues and should be completed by the end of the year. We're still working on the Wizardry site. We've made some changes and updates to the MSN Group, which includes Hear Ye! Hear Ye! which will be used as a mini-update page for the group as well as announcements section. We also plan on uploading more files which includes our midi music files and desktop icons for Wizardry.
August 22, 2004 -- We have started to "transfer" the AOL portions of the web site to the Homestead server. Please make sure to update any of your links and favorite places as we make the changes. The old pages will have links leading to the new pages, but since we are getting rid of AOL, We don't know how long those pages will remain active.
August 17, 2004 -- We are still getting our Wizardry info together and ready for the web site. We're still aiming for our goal of getting the first scenario stuff complete by the end of the month, but our time to work on it is limited, so will do what we can and publish bit by bit as necessary. We did make a small update to the treasure chest traps on the General Playing Tips - forgot that Wiz V has different traps, so those will be listed on Maelstrom's page when that is published. We also created a new MSN Group dedicated to Wizardry. Work will also progress on that in the months to come, but you can join now: Welcome to Wizardry. Anyone requesting printable info, please bear with us, we are getting it together as quickly as possible and will e-mail it to you as soon as it's ready. Thanks!!
